About Us

We are Eric and Jenna Cote. I (Jenna) have wanted to farm for as long as I can remember. This 14-acre farmstead in Limington called us both here. Back in early 2013, we came to look at this farm and land and decided against purchasing it. Several months later, we both couldn’t stop thinking about this place. Luckily, it was still for sale and we moved in during a snowstorm in November 2013. Now we live here with our two children. Over the years we have made many improvements to house and home, but the real beauty of this spot resides in the land.

Spirit Brook Farm is nestled between two roads, but you wouldn’t know it. When you step onto this land, you are instantly transported to a different world. A windy hill stretching out over flat fields and stunning horizons. Rock walls marking property lines made long ago, old tote roads, treasures found in the ground. (An old brooch, buttons, an animal’s bell)

We are adding our own story to the stories of long ago. We believe in working with the land instead of breaking it, using organic and regenerative practices, and growing herbs for everyone.

Our mission at Spirit Brook Farm is to connect people with the finest herbs grown with care, intention and reciprocity. The herbs we grow are sold individually, in teas and tinctures and skincare products.

We hope to meet you at the farmer’s market, any shows we attend, in the community or at the farm.

Sincerely,

Jenna and Eric Cote
